What is Purchee?
A universal digital receipt wallet. Tap to pay at a participating retailer and your itemised receipt lands automatically in Purchee — no scanning, no QR codes, nothing to install at the till. Every receipt from every Purchee connected retailer, in one place.
How does Purchee know which receipts are mine?
Through identity anchors you already use at checkout — your card's secure fingerprint, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or your phone or email. In Australia, we'll also support the Consumer Data Right. You decide which anchors to link, and you can unlink any of them at any time.
Do you ever see my card details?
No. Purchee never receives, sees, or stores your card number. Identity is matched through the secure tokens already exchanged between your bank and the retailer's terminal. Manual card entry is not on our roadmap — by design.
Is Purchee free to use?
Yes — the everyday wallet is free. Purchee Pro adds advanced spend insights, exports, and tools designed for sole traders and small-business owners who use receipts for tax and bookkeeping. Pricing is being finalised through our research-preview programme.
Where is my data stored, and what do you do with it?
Hosted in Australia, aligned with the Privacy Act 1988. We don't sell your purchase history. Retailers see anonymised, aggregated patterns by default — never your individual receipts unless you choose to share them.
Which POS systems does Purchee work with?
Shopify, Square, and Lightspeed at launch, with a REST API and webhook events for custom set-ups. Onboarding is OAuth-based, takes minutes, and requires no new hardware.
I'm a retailer — what's involved?
We're recruiting 20 design partners with six months of free access and weekly product sessions with the founders. You bring an Australian retail outlet on Shopify, Square, or Lightspeed; we plug in, deliver receipts straight to your shoppers' wallets, and surface the customer behind every tap — with their consent.
When and where is Purchee launching?
We're in private preview in Melbourne now, onboarding design partners through 2026. India is the planned second market via UPI-VPA. Other regions will follow once the Australian foundation is solid.
